Susan Marie Artisan Chocolates cannot be responsible for damage if you (or the recipient of a gift) are not present at time of delivery and the damage occurs as a result of the delay in claiming the package.
We strongly recommend shipping to an address where someone will be able to receive the package when delivered.
To provide economical shipping to our customers, our online rates are based on USPS Priority Mail (some local orders are shipped by FedEx Ground). If you need expedited shipment, or have special needs, contact us directly and we will try to accommodate your request.

If you are local to Issaquah, WA, or the surrounding area, you can order online and arrange to pick up your purchase, thus eliminating shipping charges.
Returns and Refunds
Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If a product is defective or damaged upon receipt contact us immediately after your package arrives. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new, unused, and uneaten condition for a refund.

Shipping Policy
We ship only to the continental United States. We ship orders within two to three business days by USPS Priority Mail. If it appears that weather conditions will not allow safe delivery within that period, we will delay shipment of your order. Temperatures at or above 72 degrees Fahrenheit require insulated packaging and overnight shipment. If we believe your order cannot be shipped without insulated packaging, we will notify you and request instructions on how to proceed.
